We can paint the exterior of most houses (up to 3,000 square feet) in 5-10 days. Painting an interior single room can usually be completed in one day, while an entire home can take up to 3 weeks (depending on the size). We’ll estimate the time frame in advance to minimize any disruption to your schedule.
Unlike exteriors, interiors are based on your preferences rather than a specific time period. However, if a wall seems to be degrading or is located in a certain area, such as a bathroom, it may need to be painted more often.
Proton Painting uses a variety of brands of paint. If you have a specific brand you are interested in, we can see what they offer in the area and get you what you need for your project. Our recommended brand is Sherwin Williams. We’ve had great success with them over time but there are competing brands with excellent products as well.
Generally every 6-10 years, depending on the specifics of your home. If your paint is cracked or peeling, the color is fading, or the fascia boards along the roof line show signs of wear, we recommend repainting.
